Next Steps for Simple Rate Extension: Enhancements and Upcoming Features

It has been one month since we launched our first extension, Simple Rate (bc_simplerate). The latest update, version 0.0.6, introduces support for the Backend (BE) module, enabling BE users to easily track statistics such as how often a record has been rated and the average rating per record.

Introducing the Rate Administration Module

The BE module "Rate Administration" provides valuable insights into the ratings data. To activate or deactivate this BE module, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to Admin Tools > Settings > Extension Configuration.
2. Click the "Configure extensions" button.
3. In the popup, locate and click the accordion item bc_simplerate.
4. Enable the "Show administration Rate module" option.
5. Click on the button Save “bc_simplerate” configuration.

Additionally, a “Set max items per page” option allows you to define the maximum number of items shown per page.
